FSU gamethread
Florida St. Seminoles at Clemson Tigers, Jan 7, 2012 4:15 PM EST
FSU comes to Littlejohn today for the ACC opener for both teams. With the academic schedule pushed back a week, classes don't start until Wednesday, meaning Littlejohn may see a very low student turnout today.
The 'Noles were tabbed to finish 3rd in the ACC preseason poll, but they didn't look very good in non-conference play, and come into ACC play with a 9-5 record. They have yet to beat a single team that is likely to end up dancing in March. They played well against inferior teams, with their lone bad loss to Princeton in triple OT. But they also didn't notch a single quality win, losing games to Harvard, UConn, Michigan State, and Florida.
Michael Snaer is coming off of a career-high 22 point game against Auburn, and the Seminoles' leading scorer will look to continue his hot streak today.
Trevor Booker, who is also coming off of a career-high 22 point game, is in for a big challenge today with FSU's bigs. Bernard James (6-10, 240), Okaro White (6-8, 205), and Xavier Gibson (6-11, 250) could give the Tigers some problems inside.
Luke Loucks is one of the better point guards in the conference, and is currently 4th in the ACC with 3.9 assists per game. Also keep an eye out for FSU's 6th man, shooting sleeve-wearing Lithuanian Deividas Dulkys, who, along with Loucks and Snaer, is shooting over 33% for 3 on the year.
Hopefully we can somehow get a win today. It'd be a pleasant distraction from the unspeakable horror that we all witnessed Wednesday night.
Game tips at 4 and can be seen on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com.

Alright, moving the NFL game to the tv, and the basketball to the computer screen. Oh If I could have a nice multiple tv set up

Jennings on a good dunk
Team is using its transition chances to their top potential today. Good to see

Something I didn't think I would see in ACC play this season
a 32-10 lead with 5 minutes left in the 1st half! In Clemson’s favor! This team is hustling hard and not giving up on chances, and Rod Hall, Bobo, and oh all players Milton Jennings are currently not allowing themselves to be pushed around by a larger more athletic FSU team

Bobo is just abusing this 6' white boy that keeps getting put on him

And now the team is trying to force 3 pointers.
Not a smart move, they need to get it under control and move itaround and drive

Trying to push too much as end of the half comes up
Calm it down and just attack, nothing fancy needed

STUPID 3 POINTERS TAKE A STEP IN AND DRIVE
Kill them before they have a chance

Impressive first half for our team
Love seeing Bobo go off on smaller guys. Keep it up big man!
It shows you what coaching can do.
BB has done wonders improving Bobo’s confidence, and by getting the guys better positioned to play ACC basketball.

Kind of scares that the 22pt lead was cut a little bit before the half. So far so good in to the second just hope we don’t go cold from the line and can pull this one out.
