ACC Officially a 14 team league
Welcome to Syracuse and Pitt.
I think if we're going to do this, we might as well go ahead and grab two other teams too. Looks like it's heading that way anyway.

Pretty sure...
It’s headed that way, I like the Pitt addition but am not a fan of adding Syracuse. Though for basketball they are a good get. Reports are that it’s maybe Uconn and Rutgers, will be seriously pissed if this is true as they add absolutely nothing in football and Rutgers in particular adds nothing from any standpoint.
I wouldnt completely hate UConn
Rutgers…ugh

NYC Market
Syracuse actually gets good coverage in the NYC market along with a good fan base – unlike how BC is essentially ignored in Boston. They do have a football pedigree but have just sucked over the past decade. However, I think the ACC needs to be very proactive and just set the precedent by going with two additional and make it a 16 team league.
Go for Texas and Texas Tech…..reorganize into 4 mini divisions for football and the top two teams with the best record play for the ACC title each year. Renegotiate with ESPN for big bucks, or better yet, screw them, let’s get out of that contract and do a deal with Fox. Ditch Raycom while we’re at it – listening Swofford? Oh, and while we’re at it, let’s move the conference HQ to Atlanta.
and then we'll capture some unicorns, finds pots of gold at the end of some rainbows, and make a deal with fairies for some football magic
in other words, over Swofford’s dead body.
