It's Game Week!!

Well game week is finally here everyone. I'm sure you all are as excited as I am to get this season kicked off and see what kind of team we have. So what are people most looking forward to seeing in the season opener? I will certainly be keeping my eye on a lot of things but I think the thing I'm most anxious to see is how much Tahj has progressed this summer and how well the passing game works with these young WRs.

Even though my main attention will be on Clemson, there are some other games this first weekend that I think will be worth watching. The marquee matchup is obviously Oregon vs. LSU.  Should be interesting to see how big of an affect this bar beating has on LSU. The other "big" matchup will be Boise State at Georgia. It would be nice to see Georgia get beat down by some blue people at home. Other games I'll be keeping an eye on:

Utah State at Auburn: Mostly because I want to see what Auburn looks like before we play them. I won't discount Utah State though. They haven't won many games recently but they have had a lot of fire in them the last few years.

Northwestern at BC: BC traditionally has a tough defense and Northwestern usually has a high-powered offense. We'll see which one wins out.

South Florida at ND: It seems like all the major sports media outlets are jumping on the Irish bandwagon. I didn't like Brian Kelly after the way he left Cincinnati (not that I blame him for wanting to leave that crap hole, just didn't like the way he left). Then after seeing how poorly he handled the whole situation of that poor kid falling to his death, I disliked him even more. Not that I like seeing a Holtz win but I'll be glad to see South Florida stomp ND and crush their hopes early.

Chickens vs. ECU (in Charlotte): East Carolina is not a great team but they're probably going to have an awesome passing offense. If I were a USC player (and praise the Lord that I'm not), I would not be taking this game lightly. I'm not saying that ECU will win but it's entirely possible that this will be a close game.

Coastal Carolina vs. Furman: Go Chants!!

What games are others looking forward to seeing?
