Tigers fall to Hawaii, 75-68
Milton Jennings was suspended by Brad Brownell, and Bryan Narcisse got hurt early in the 2nd half, which left the Tigers with just 8 viable players for the vast majority of the 2nd half. We leave the Islands with a 1-2 record and 6th place tournament finish. The Tigers had long scoring droughts in all 3 games: over 12 minutes without a field goal against UTEP, over 13 minutes against SIU, and over 6 minutes against Hawaii.
I wasn't expecting a tournament championship or anything, but the Tigers' performance in the islands was pretty abysmal, especially on offense.
After playing 5 games in a span of 9 days, the Tigers get the next week off. Their next game is next Sunday, January 1st, against East Tennessee State.
Merry Christmas guys.

Sigh
Going to be a looong season.

Already has been a long season and we haven’t even started conference play! We may do better than I predicted before the season, which was that we wouldn’t win 10 games, but it is not going to be much more! I really don’t know what Brownell can do, we have no talent outside the freshman and they are freshman and not the kind of freshman Duke & UNC get! This year and probably next year don’t look like Clemson Basketball is going to be relevant, unfortunately!

2-14 or 3-13 in conference play at best
this team sucks and Brad is having trouble getting their best from the players.
I think we do a little better
Just because of homecourt advantage. Student attendance generally really picks up in the spring semester and the noise can cause some teams to choke.

student attendance
I wouldn’t count on student attendance. Student attendance has been on a steady decline for the past 2 years or so. And with us as bad as we are this year, I don’t see the student section selling out for any game besides Duke.
But I DO agree that we will do better than 2 or 3 wins. I’m thinkin more like 4 or 5. haha. so not much better. just a little better
I blame the admin for that
When they switched to an online ticketing system they created apathy in a chunk of the students. It used to be that the best seats went to those who camped, but you could get in and have bad seats at the last minute if it wasn’t a big game. Now if you haven’t registered online for tickets, they wont let you in, because someone else who may or may not show up won tickets in the lottery.
