UNC probably has as much talent and skill in the front 7 on defense as anyone in the conference with their OVER 4-3 scheme. For whatever reason, they haven't done as well in the back 4 so far this year, and because of the distractions they've had, this has been an up & down year for them as a team. UNC has a good RB and two WRs we coveted here, so I think we'll get their best shot today in the Valley.

I'd like to see him correct it too, but here we are in game 8 and he's still doing it
He locks in on one guy based on his pre-snap read and usually follows that one guy with his eyes the entire play.
It appears that Morris's game plan was to pass early to loosen up UNC's defense
UNC’s front 7 is very good. But AE should be involved early, get him in the flow of the game.
NC's DBs
everything I read pre-game ripped on NC’s DBs…they seem pretty stable so far.
UM passed on them a lot last week, but our passing game is not like theirs
Theirs is a lot of vertical routes, ours is mostly short and intermediate passes.

Clemson has nothing for when UNC blitzes. A 2 yd throw isnt going to cause them
to stop blitzing us
I feel like we are having success on series

Another slow start, we need to get moving

we ran the wing-t in high school. This offense is the wing-t on crack. Absolutely awesome.

Really surprised that Zimmerman isn’t kicking off. I would think distance would win out over direction, but Zimmerman must just not be very good at it.

I hate 4th down conversions...

It’s both. They know our D sucks and their starting kicker got injured a couple of weeks ago and is out for the year

Tajh - 32 passes in the first half.
Defense needs to step up in the second half.
Feels like we should be up by a lot more than 7. A couple of overthrown balls to sammy are the difference. Thats 14 easy points we should have right now.
Well, 3 TO’s for UNC and only a 7pt defecit I would say that is confidence in itself. Bottom line we have not executed on offense in terms of the offensive line and just making plays in general. Also, we have got to stop these huge plays on defense and we need to be able to run just a little bit…

UNC's front 7 is good, but I thought we'd be able to at least run it enough to keep them
honest.
And that draw play at the end of the half was stupid.
we've had a few occasions where we could have bounced it outside for more yards but just went straight up the middle for about 2
we’re getting nothing at all in the middle
I am sure we have been on it before, numerous times!

One thing for sure, we need some points to start the second half to keep some distance between us as you can’t rely on our defense to consistently do it for us….

and got run out of the chat room. The Chad didn’t have a good play calling half in my opinion. Though Boyd wasn’t sharp.

if duke wins today and wake loses to unc next week and we win next week and nc state loses either today or next week, then i think we will clinch the division. sounds like a lot but it could happen

CU and WF win next week, Wake is must win (or wake must lose the game after)
CU wins, WF loses, need one more CU win, or another Wake loss
CU loses, WF wins, must win Wake, and NCState or Wake loss
CU and WF lose, win against Wake, or Wake lose one and we win one
best thing is we’ve already won head to head against all the 2 loss teams in the division. bottom line, beat GT and Wake and we win. Just take care of business, baby.

I guess if we win next week, the only team that can catch us in the division is wake. i think everryone else would be eliminated
