Steele compares this season's performance to that of Alabama's 2 years ago when Saban was installing his scheme. I can compare it to the same ordeal at LSU when Saban got there. Its a complex scheme with the fronts and blitzes. Between year 1 and 2 you'll notice improvement.
He's right, you should evaluate him, and anyone else, on the whole body of work on the field.
