More Recruiting...Barry Humphries

As previously posted, Gary Peters has committed to the Tigers, bringing us to 15, chosing CU over Bammer Moday evening. Adding Peters brings the DB commits to 4, and we should now be full at Corner. Peters scores 3 stars from scout.com and 4 stars from rivals. Rivals has Peters ranked as the 14th best corner in this class. This addition should add some needed depth for our defensive backfield.

Clemson did miss out on Byrnes star Marcus Lattimore- story. This is one of the few from Byrnes to not give Clemson an upper hand. Lattimore is all-world, and I would like to pull in a big name running back again this season, but this is really no surprise. Lattimore will chose between Auburn, UNC, Oregon, Penn State, and South Carolina.

Barry Humphries has decided to transfer, after being kicked off the team by Coach Swinney. His own statement says he wants PT, after being listed as the 4th string Center, but we all know that smells of bullshit and he was really kicked off. There has some transgression recently. First off, theres no way Humphries would NOT get any PT, and theres no way that there are 3 guys better than him at Center. The truth is that he's been in the doghouse since the DUI, and being on the two-game suspension on top of that for the MTSU and GT games on top of that must've given him impetus to further piss Dabo off. Apparently when Ard tried to interview him, he said "Fuck you" and hung up the phone....hilarious and something Ard would be told by thousands of Tiger fans. But what is clear to me is that he doesn't care about his teammates and hasn't grown up yet.

The more serious consequence is that we're now 2 short on the OL. Medlin is already taking a medical redshirt, and now we lose what I believed would be the guy to win the starting job at Center over Cloy, or at least get significant PT spelling Austin or McClain.

Word is Barry sold his handgun to somebody, the guy pulled it on someone, and then ratted out Barry.

The cop didnt put it in the report and it was handled internally.
